EMRC Elections Result
Based on the votes I received from voting members of EMRC, Dr Mohsen Asadi-Lari got the majority of votes and Dr Thamer Kadoum Al-Hilfi took the second place.
Thus Dr Asadi-Lari will continue his role as the GF Board Member from Eastern Mediterranean Region for 2018-2019 period and Dr Thamer Al-Hilfi will serve as the Alternate BM till the end of 2018 based on the EMRC Governance Framework. Please notice that the next round of elections will be at the end of 2018.
This is also to express my gratitude to Her Excellency Dr. Adeela Hamood Hussain Al-Aboudi for the period she served and supported EMRC as ABM.
