Dr Mohamed Chakroun

Prof. Mohamed Chakroun is the head of the infectious diseases department at Fattouma Bourguiba University Hospital in Monastir and is the actual elected chair of CCM Tunisia.
Tunisia CCM recognizes the high commitment and expertise of Prof. Mohamed Chakroun in his capacity of elected chair as well as a key Player in the national response to HIV/AIDS and a national and international senior public health expert. He is well known for his recognized expertise in HIV testing services, HIV combination
prevention, antiretroviral therapy and retention in care. As Infectious diseases specialist he has also a good knowledge of tuberculosis, malaria, covid-19 and other emergent diseases.
Prof. Mohamed Chakroun has been representing
the EMR as alternate Board Member of the Global Fund since 2019 and Board Member since 2022. HeHe has been a member ofEthic and Governance Committee since 2018, a wealth of nationally and internationally recognized experience and expertise and his deep understanding of the EMR context.
