Omid Zamani

Dr. Omid Zamani has a history of work on HIV/AIDS and health communication for and with different GOs, NGOs, CCM and UN agencies.  He is currently a national officer at WHO Iran country office.

He is an affiliated researcher at Regional Knowledge Hub for HIV/AIDS Surveillance and a Member of Medical and Health Sociology Scientific Group, Iranian Sociological Association . He has published a couple of books and papers on harm reduction, HIV prevention and research, in addition to developing some advocacy materials and NGO capacity building guidelines.

He has finished some Martahon running Events including the San Francisco's, Athens Authentic and Istanbul among others, and is advocating for running as a healthy lifestyle change.
