EMRC Team at the 37th Board Meeting in Kigali

The team from EMRC included Dr Sajid Ahmad (pakistan), Dr Sarah Saafi (Afghanistan), Dr Adam Osmaan (Somalia) together with Dr Omid Zamani (CFP) and Dr Thamer Al-Hilfi (Designated ABM).

Attending implementers group meeting on 1st of May which included election of new Board Chair was the first activity of the group. Final decision of Imp Group was in line with EMRC position.

The team also attended some site visits and pre-board briefings on May 2nd as well as a joint luncheon meeting with French delegation.

On May the 3rd the team attended board meetings. Dr Zamani attended the joint meeting with Imp STC and GF secretariat team and to discuss STC policy implementation issues.

On May 4th the team attended the board meetings. The CFP attended the Imp Group's 2017 planning session in which the next Imp Group Retreat was pllaned to be held in Kiev in Sep 2017 to further discuss Imp roadmap implementation and finalize the election of new Imp Group leadership.

On May 5th two EMRC delegates attended the site visit at North Rwanda's APOFEPAR project dealing with harm reduction and rehab among Female Sex Workers.
